This little cabane is in the Jura hills just above St. Ceregue in Canton Vaud. Easily accessible from Geneva via the little red train from Nyon to La Cure (France).
The hike from St. Ceregue to La Givrine or vice-versa is a pretty little walk (about 2 hours) through typical Jurasian scenery of pines and interspersed with open pastures and meandering stone walls.
The cabane is open every weekend of the year. On Saturdays you can find snacks with soup available on Sunday.It is easily reachable on snow-shoes (marked trial) or cross-country skis and, of course, in the summer.
