This is a great starting point for the Tour des Muverans, a circular four day hike. Access is easy, from the mainline station at Bex take the bus to Les Plans-sur-Bex. From there it is a relatively easy 45 minute hike to this Auberge. There are both double rooms and dormitories available. Hot showers available. Good food at the restaurant. Pleasant, helpful staff. The picture above is about 15 minutes from the auberge heading towards Nant.
